How does each Gizmo™ product work?
Gizmo® Can Opener – The Black & Decker® Automatic Gizmo® Can Opener will open virtually any size can. Just lift the lever and position a can under the Locating Tab on the can opener, and push down on the lever. There is no need to hold the lever down or hold the can during cutting. When the can is open the Black & Decker® Automatic Gizmo® Can Opener will stop automatically!
Gizmo™ Twist Mixer – The Black & Decker® Gizmo Twist Mixer™ has 2 speeds: Low – to blend & stir; High – to whisk, whip, beat and mix. There are 3 attachments depending on what you are using the Twist Mixer for. To mix, simply insert the end attachment into the opening of the twistable head; lock into place; and begin mixing at the high or low speed.
Gizmo™ Steam 'N Crease™ Iron – The Black & Decker® Gizmo™ Steam 'N Crease™ Iron is a 3-in-1 iron. It can be used two ways for pressing – as a traditional iron or using the creasing function to give sharp creases to pant legs, collars, cuffs, and more. It can also get rid of tough wrinkles using the brush cover & powerful surge of steam while the clothes are still on the hanger.
Gizmo™ Tip 'N Mix™ Automatic Salad Dressing Mixer – The Black & Decker® Gizmo™ Tip ‘N Mix™ Automatic Salad Dressing Mixer emulsifies ingredients as you pour. Just add the ingredients and tilt the jar and watch the powerful spinning action of the mixing spatula and specially designed beater automatically mix and emulsify. Conveniently battery operated, you can take the Gizmo™ Tip ‘N Mix™ Salad Dressing Mixer directly to the dining table. A Power Boost button helps you start mixing ingredients on the table or adds a powerful boost if you press it as you serve.

Where can you store or charge each Gizmo™ product?
Each Gizmo™ product and all its components can easily store in your counter drawer or on the included wall-mount (which comes with instructions). In order to charge each Gizmo™ product, simply plug in the AC adapter included with your Black & Decker® Gizmo™ item. We do recommend that each Gizmo™ product be charged for 24 hours before its first use (the iron is not rechargeable and can be plugged into the wall).
The Tip N Mix™ Automatic Salad Dressing Mixer is not rechargeable and is powered by 4 AA batteries (included).

How do I clean and care for the Gizmo™ products?
Gizmo® Can Opener - Just unplug the cord, remove the Unit by pushing the Unit Release Lever and pull it out of the Charging Base. Wipe the Charging Base and exterior of the Unit with a soft damp cloth. Lift and pull out the Operating Lever up as far as it will go and pull the Blade Assembly out and away from the Can Opener. Wash in hot, sudsy water by hand and dry thoroughly.
Gizmo™ Twist Mixer – Unplug the unit before cleaning. Place the attachment end of the unit under warm running water immediately after mixing is completed. Wipe with damp cloth. Never immerse motor end in water. All attachments are dishwasher safe.
Gizmo™ Steam 'N Crease™ Iron – Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the soleplate and outer surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild household detergent. After cleaning, iron with steam over an old cloth to remove any residue from the steam vents.
Gizmo™ Tip 'N Mix™ Automatic Salad Dressing Mixer – Turn the unit off and remove the jar from the base. Add 1-2 drops of dishwashing liquid soap in the jar. Fill the jar with warm water and cover with the lid. Replace the jar on the base and turn the unit on and run it. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Wipe the base with a damp cloth or sponge.
